DSI subsidiary awarded Dh175m contract

Dubai: Drake & Scull International, the Dubai-listed contractor, confirmed on Monday its subsidiary, Gulf Technical Construction, was awarded a Dh175-million-contract to build a project in Dubai’s Business Bay.

The award was by Orion Real Estate to build the company’s latest project, the West Bay residential tower. Once completed, the 34-storey tower will feature 252 apartments.

The scope of work includes construction, civil engineering, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works scheduled for completion within 33 months.
