Dubai : Emaar Properties PJSC, the global property developer, has announced the transfer of its education portfolio in Dubai to a Dubai-based premium education provider, Innoventure Educational Investments LLC.
The portfolio includes two schools, six nurseries and a vocational training campus. The move will be effective at the start of the next academic year in September.
The two schools are Raffles International Umm Suqeim West Campus and Raffles International Umm Suqeim South Campus. The six nurseries are located in The Lakes, Downtown Dubai, The Springs and the Umm Suqeim South Campus.
Emaar has already partnered successfully with Innoventure in operating the Dubai International Academy (DIA). Through the partnership, the two schools and six nurseries will be managed on a long-term basis by Innoventure.
Fruitful partnership
Dr Abdullah Al Karam, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director-General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), said: "We hope that the partnership between Emaar and Innoventure will prove fruitful. We wish the pupils of these kindergartens and schools well with their studies in the coming years."
Innoventure is a privately held company that was established in 2004.
Its flagship school, Dubai International Academy, is an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum school offering all three IB programmes in the UAE.
These are the Primary Years' Programme (PYP), the Middle Years' Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP).
