Emaar Properties postpones GM to October 21

General meeting was postponed due to lack of quorum

Dubai: Emaar Properties said on Monday it has postponed its general assembly meeting to October 21.

The quorum was not met at the meeting held on October 15, the company said in a statement posted on the Dubai Financial Market’s website.

Emaar Properties is planning to list a property development unit and it will give a special dividend to existing shareholders.

Emaar Properties last month transferred key assets to a new investment vehicle, which included 49 units in the Burj Khalifa and two Address hotels still under construction, through which it will list a number of Emaar’s projects on the stock market.
