Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, Visa partner for FinTech development

Dubai: Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), the regulatory body for Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the integrated free zone technology park, said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global payments technology company, Visa, to jointly support innovative start-ups and exchange knowledge of emerging technologies.

As per the MoU, the two parties shall raise awareness about innovation and emerging technologies in the field of payment solutions through shared events, workshops, and hackathons. Furthermore, the MoU facilitates networking between specialists from both entities as well as knowledge exchange in their respective areas of expertise, the DSOA said in a statement.
