Dubai shares fall, led by Du and Union Properties

Dubai: Dubai shares declined for a third day, led by Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Co., known as Du, and Union Properties.

The Dubai Financial Market General Index fell 0.3 per cent to 5,489.88 on Sunday. The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange General Index added 0.2 per cent.

Du, the United Arab Emirates' second-biggest mobile-phone company, lost 2.1 per cent to Dh5.63.

Union Properties declined 1.8 per cent to Dh5.43.
