Dubai: Baker McKenzie Habib Al Mulla said on Sunday it plans to strengthen tax practice with two new appointments in the UAE. The law firm said in a statement that it has appointed Andrew Mackenzie as Partner in its UAE Arbitration practice and Reggie Mezu as Senior Special Counsel to launch the firm’s Tax practice in the UAE. Mackenzie joined from Hogan Lovells in the UAE, specialising in international arbitration law, while Mezu, an international tax counsel with nearly 30 years of experience in the Middle East, Africa and Europe, joined from tax advisory firm Cragus Group Saad.
