Gulf Petrochem begins bunker operations at Indian port

Abu Dhabi: Gulf Petrochem Group, the UAE-based global bunker supplier, said on Wednesday it is to begin bunkering operations at the Gujarat port of Pipavav, on India’s west coast, to service its Indian-Sub Continent customers. Gulf Petrochem has their own liquid terminal with a capacity of 250,000KL (kilo litres) for different petroleum classes of products such as fuel oil and marine gas oil. Presently for their bunkering business, fuel oil tankage capacity is around 30,000KL at this port, the company said in a statement.
