Abu Dhabi: GE Power & Water today signed a long-term contractual services agreement (CSA) with Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) to assure seamless operations of GE’s installed base of turbines that power Taweelah, the largest single-site aluminium smelter complex, in Abu Dhabi.

The new CSA builds on GE’s existing partnership with both Emirates Aluminium (EMAL) and Dubai Aluminium (DUBAL), which together have an annual production capacity that represents nearly 50 per cent of the total primary aluminium producer in the GCC region, GE said in a press release.
