Dubai Government reviews service fees in bid to boost business
Dubai: The Government of Dubai is reviewing its service fees with regard to their impact on business in the emirate, WAM reported on Monday.
A study on government service fees was discussed at Monday's meeting of the Dubai Executive Council, chaired by Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and First Deputy Chairman of the council, which also discussed means to support small businesses.
The proposed support to small entrepreneurs "is in line with Dubai Plan to improve the living conditions of Emiratis and expatriates and provide them with good quality of life, as well as to maintain the stability of the business sector and enhance Dubai's competitiveness at the global stage," the council said.
The council also reviewed Dubai Courts performance appraisal, conducted to mainly enhance and speed up legal procedures.
