Dubai-based Action Hotels to develop fourth hotel in Australia

Dubai: Novotel has been selected by Action Hotels, an owner, developer, and asset manager of hotels in the Middle East and Australia, to be the brand partner for its new hotel in Melbourne, the owner said in a statement on Thursday.

The property will be Action Hotel’s fourth hotel in Australia and its third in Melbourne.

Set to open the first quarter of 2018, the hotel will have 347 rooms. Action’s total operating rooms and development pipeline now stands as 3,214 rooms.

Novotel is one of AccorHotels’ midscale brands, comprising 480 hotels and resorts across 59 countries.
