Czech industrial companies to boost investments in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: Mohammad Helal Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), has stressed the importance of developing the economic and investment ties between the companies in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the Czech Republic.

He said during the meeting with the Czech trade delegation headed by Thomas Costa, Director of Economic Relations in the Czech Foreign Ministry, that the UAE and the Czech Republic have friendship and cooperation ties, but noted that they do not reflect the level of trade exchange and investment between the two countries.

The UAE official indicated that the trade exchange did not exceed Dh1.8 billion at the end of 2011.

Al Muhairi called on the private sector in both countries to boost cooperation and volume of the trade exchange through investment projects, and participation at exhibitions held in Abu Dhabi and the Czech Republic.
