The installation marks an integral part of the partnership between Khalifa University and the American OEM, which began in 2020 to bolster the Aerospace Engineering curriculum at the University..The flight simulator will be a crucial tool in Khalifa University’s Aerospace Engineering department, where it will function as both an introductory platform for junior undergraduates and a research facility for senior and postgraduate students. .Dr Arif Sultan Al Hammadi, Executive Vice-President of Khalifa University, said, “This collaboration with Boeing not only reinforces our shared vision for advancing aviation but also elevates our research capabilities in aerospace engineering.” .The simulator is equipped with the latest commercial aircraft controls and has a built-in editor for aerodynamic geometry and airfoil data, said the University.
