Qatar Airways started flights from Doha to Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) on Tuesday, its fifth airport in the United Arab Emirates.
The maiden flight landed at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport at around 10:30pm, according to a statement posted to the airlines website on Wednesday.
Qatar Airways initially planned to start flights in October, however, it delayed was delayed due to “operational reasons.”
The airline also flies from Doha to Abu Dhabi International, Dubai International, Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central and Sharjah International.
