GCAA signs MoU with Airbus Middle East

Deal to foster talent development among young UAE nationals

Dubai: The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, GCAA, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with Airbus Middle East to support the future of aviation through a series of workshops, aiming to instil a passion for science, technology and engineering among young nationals. As a result of this, the two parties will work together to develop engagement and training initiatives for youth at a grass-roots level in the UAE, to support the growing needs for talent and to encourage nationals to pursue a career in the aviation industry. The MoU was signed by Omar Bin Ghaleb, Deputy Director-General of GCAA and Assistant Director-General for Support Services Sector, and Fouad Attar, Managing Director, Airbus Middle East.
