Dubai: Flydubai on Sunday announced the launch of flights to Iran. The budget carrier said in a statement that it will launch flights to two Iranian cities — Tehran and Mashhad, which were previously not in its travel routes. While Mashhad flights will commence August 10, 2014, flights to Tehran will take off the following day on August 11, resulting in a total of four flights a week to Iran. Flydubai stated it will be the first airline offering Business Class trips to Mashhad, a service that was introduced by the airline less than a year ago.
