Dubai: Etihad Airways said on Thursday a group of Korean financial institutions have provided financing for its second Airbus A380 aircraft.

The airline, which did not state who the institutional investors were, said it is the first ever Korean financing to cover the entire cost of a brand new A380 aircraft.

The Korean financing is structured as a 15-year, fixed coupon full-payout finance lease.

Etihad received the first of its 10 A380s last December.
