Etihad starts A380 flights to New York

Dubai: Etihad Airways has started daily Airbus A380 services to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The airline said in a statement on Tuesday it started flights a day earlier with one of its A380s that it said offers the only commercially available three room suite in the sky.

Etihad’s A380s feature The Residence, its flagship premium offering with a double bed, three rooms and a dedicated butler.

The Residence costs $32,000 (Dh117,400) one way between Abu Dhabi and New York.
