Drydocks World services record number of vessels

Dubai: Drydocks World said on Monday it has simultaneously serviced 40 vessels in its Dubai yard, a record for the Dubai government company.

More than 9,000 workers serviced the vessels that included tankers, drilling rigs, bulk carriers, dredgers, gas carriers, containers and barges, according to an emailed statement.

No details were given on when the vessels were serviced or over what time period.

Drydocks World said its previous record was 37 vessels.
