Dubai: Dubai Airports said Wednesday that a $7.8bn (Dh28.8bn) airport and airspace expansion plan for Dubai International Airport has been endorsed by Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
The programme would boost the airport’s capacity from 60 million to 90 million passengers per year by 2018, the airports body said.
