Air Arabia Jordan takes off

Dubai: Air Arabia launched its Jordanian hub operations on Monday with its inaugural flight to Kuwait City, the airline said.

Air Arabia Jordan, based at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, is a joint venture between Sharjah-headquartered Air Arabia and Jordan’s RUM Group.

Air Arabia Jordan will also launch services to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, Arbil in Iraqi Kurdistan and Sharm Al Shaikh in Egypt.

Air Arabia shares closed up 0.64 per cent to Dh1.58 on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Monday.
