2,389 new commercial licenses issued in Abu Dhabi in Q1 2016

Abu Dhabi: The total number of new business licenses in Abu Dhabi was 2,389 during the first quarter of 2016, the Abu Dhabi’s Department of Economic Development (DED) announced today. The report revealed that the total number of registered commercial licenses in the first quarter of 2016 amounted to 110,274 commercial licenses, with 69,645 located in Abu Dhabi, 31,061 in Al Ain, and 9,568 in the Western Region. Khalifa Al Mansouri, Acting Undersecretary at DED, said that the number of new licences reflects Abu Dhabi’s attractive business and investment environment.
