Dubai: Grade 4 student Shreya Kothari won four events in GEMS New Millenium School’s Annual Primary Swim Gala recently, taking gold in 25-metre freestyle and breaststroke, as well as 50-metre freestyle and backstroke.

Grade 5 pupil Shokan Bekbergen won three events, while Grade 2’s Maghavan Partha Ajgaokkar won two.

Forty students took part in the hope of qualifying for inter-school, regional and international championships.
