Hundreds join cycling event as Dubai Fitness Challenge begins

Registration still open for 92km finale around Dubai Autodrome

Dubai: Over 500 cyclists took part in the third Spinneys Dubai 92 Build-Up Ride over 65-kilometre at Al Qudra Cycle Path on Friday, day one of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

There’s now just one more distance to cover before the full 92km challenge on December 14 at Dubai Autodrome, and that’s the fourth build-up ride over 85km on November 23 at Al Qudra. Junior rides will also take place on December 13, with 2.5-km, 15km and 30km rides for 6-to-15-year-olds. For those without a bike there are bike and helmet rental options upon registration via www.cyclechallenge.ae or www.hopasports.com.
