Six birdies and one bogey saw Dubai resident Adri Arnaus shoot a five-under-par 67 on Thursday to stand tied fourth at the end of the first round of the 2021 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open at Mount Juliet, County Kilkenny

The 26-year-old from Barcelona teed off on the 10th tee early on with James Morrison of England and Frenchman Joel Stalter for company. They shot 70 and 72 respectively.

The golf course set-up was fair with the greens being described as some of the best of the season so far. Starting on 10, Arnaus had birdies on holes 15, 16 and 17 as well as 2, 3 and 8 after the turn. His solitary bogey was on the Par 5 fifth hole. Arnaus and his group have a 1.50pm tee time on Friday, and will kick things off from the first tee this time around.
