Stothard wins qualifier at The Els Club

Will represent club in ‘Luckiest Ball on Earth’ Grand Final at Jumeirah Golf Estates

Dean Stothard shot 42 points to win the Men’s Division of the Luckiest Ball on Earth Qualifier at The Els Club and will represent The Els Club at the Grand Final of the Luckiest Ball on Earth to be held on 5th November at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

Anna Jentgen held off the competition from the ladies, to win the Ladies’ Division with her solid score of 36 points to also qualify. There was some great golf played amongst the junior members, and Louis Pargeter will be going on to the Grand Final Junior Division, after his great score of 38 points.

The winners of the Men’s, Ladies’ and Junior Divisions of the Grand Final of the Luckiest Ball on Earth initiative will qualify to play in the Rolex Pro-Am on Earth course on Tuesday 15th November, 2022.

Earth course

The Rolex Pro-Am is the curtain raiser for the season ending tournament on the DP World Tour, the $10 million DP World Tour Championship, Dubai, to be held Thursday 17th – Sunday 20th November, 2022 again on the Earth course.

The field for the DP World Tour Championship is made up of the top 50 players eligible on the DP World Tour Rankings after the Nedbank Golf Challenge held at Sun City, South Africa and finishing on Sunday 13th November, 2022.
