Jebel Ali JA Resort to host The Senior Champions Tour

JA The Resort, Jebel Ali will tomorrow (Wednesday) host the penultimate event of the 2022 – 2023 season for The Senior Champions Tour (TSCT).

The top five players in current TSCT Order of Merit are in the field: Ravi Khanna, Stamen Stantchev, Steve Hutton, Alan Clark and Sanjeev Thakur.

There is a shotgun start at 13:15 with the tournament being played over two loops of the nine holes course.

Vijay Vasu, co-founder and organiser of TSCT said at the draw announcement, ‘We are looking forward to our penultimate event of the season as our membership continues to grow. The TSCT Order of Merit is coming to its conclusion next month and we are pleased to see a good turnout, including the top five players, in the draw for tomorrow (Wednesday), with the OOM format being to best five scores from the seven counting. Last season’s top two players in TSCT along with a further TSCT invite played in the DP World Tour Pro-Am at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship earlier this month, hosted by the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF), which was hugely appreciated by both TSCT and the participating three players.’

TSCT is open to all amateur men and women golfers in the UAE who hold an Official EGF Handicap. With the vision of TSCT being to meet like minded people through the platform of golf.

The Order of Merit qualifying events have to date been held at the following golf clubs: The Els Club, Montgomerie Golf Club, Al Zorah Golf Club, Trump International Golf Club and Abu Dhabi Golf Club. With the final event of TSCT season will be held at Emirates Golf Club on March 30th.
