Golf in UAE Eagle Eye

Desert Rose: Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club exceeded our expectations

If you’re looking to venture out of Dubai for your golf, look no further than Al Ain

Earlier this week we ventured out of Dubai to pay a first visit to Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club. It was a new experience for all of us but one that we thoroughly enjoyed.

The hosting and service throughout the day was exceptional and we were all treated so well as soon as we arrived at bag-drop. The golf course was in pristine condition, with the greens and fairways as good as we have seen in the UAE this season.

Everything in the clubhouse and on the golf course was very well maintained, while the on-course marshals and F&B support were superb, efficient and affordable with a wide food menu choice.

Special mention goes to Steve Johns, Golf Ops / Teaching Pro along with Lani at the Golf Desk who made it all happen. Steve also hosted a pre-arranged Golf Clinic for our group prior to play.

We then played the golf course and used some of the tips offered at the clinic.

A fun day was had by all and it exceeded all our expectations.

If anyone is looking for a change of pace and surroundings for golf in the UAE, I highly recommend a trip to Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club. You will not be disappointed.

We will be back as both individuals and as the Desert Rose Golfing Society.

See you all in Al Ain soon!
