Watch: New footage of Leicester City helicopter crash emerges

It shows the copter rising into the sky before appearing to go into a tailspin and rapidly losing altitude

New footage has emerged of the moment the helicopter carrying Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha spun out of control and crashed, killing all five people on board.

The video, obtained by The Sun newspaper in England, filmed from the pitchside shows the helicopter taking off at the King Power Stadium after Saturday’s 1-1 Premier League draw between Leicester and West Ham United. It is seen rising into the sky before appearing to go into a tailspin and rapidly losing altitude.

The cause of the accident is being investigated and theories include the helicopter hitting a drone and bird strike. The video has been handed to investigators.
