In this archival photo album, the memories of several key Sharjah landmarks and the history of its residents and visitors are invoked and celebrated. From photographs taken more than 50 years ago to the present, this journey of aspirations and ambitions has inspired a vibrant civilisation and cultural project in the region and across the world, known as Sharjah.
