The formation of fossil dunes is seen across Al Wathba. Located in the suburbs of Abu Dhabi, Al Wathba is home to some of Abu Dhabi’s wetland reserves which are mainly known as home to a large population of Greater Flamingos, along with over 250 species of birds and a wide variety of aquatic life.
