Barack Obama: The first African-American President of the US has been keeping busy since he left his seat of power. In 2018, they signed a contract with Netflix to produce films and series under their production banner, Higher Ground Productions. When Bill Clinton left the White House, he moved to Chappaqua, New York, his wife Hillary Clinton’s home base. From here, Clinton took on a prolific agenda of public speaking along with two common post-presidential pasttimes: building a library (which he did in Little Rock, Arkansas) and writing a memoir. He is also very involved in social issues through the Clinton Presidential Foundation, which works on racial and ethnic reconciliation and promoting the economic empowerment of poor people. Once a Texan, always a Texan. George W. Bush returned to Midland upon leaving office at age 62 and spent a quiet life on his Prairie Chapel Ranch. The Bushs also bought a home in an exclusive neghbourhood in Dallas and became a large part of the local community, attending local events and hosting people at home. He gave speeches in public forums but kept away from political conjecture. He also worked on a bunch of social causes including for veterans with PTSD. Actor-turned-president Ronald Reagan went from the White House to Bel Air.He wrote his memoir, supervised the creation of Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California and made many speeches.
