Married women across India are fasting today as part of the Hindu festival of Karwa Chauth. It’s the day women observe a fast from dawn to dusk, praying for the long lives of their spouses. Of course with time, the celebrations have become more fantastic, with grand outfits and get-togethers marking the end of the fast. Bollywood on and off screen has celebrated the annual fest over the years. Today we look at actresses who may be undertaking a subdued line – owing to COVID-19 and its safety practices - but are marking it none-the-less and some who are posting throwback photos. 'Desi Girl,' Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Wednesday (local time) celebrated the festival of Karwa Chauth with her singer husband Nick Jonas in California.
