However, at this juncture, it is important to remember that we cannot afford to become lax. It is evidence that the coronavirus continues to ravage the population as many parts of the world are hoping to return to normal life. The vaccine has been rolled out in the UK and it will soon be given the go-ahead in the US too. But the task ahead is not going to be easy. Distribution of the vaccine to those who need it the most requires coordination of the highest level. Till then the US must go back to the basics - encouraging the people to wear masks and follow social distancing in order to reduce the number of fatalities. News emerged of the death of Italy’s goalscoring hero from their victorious 1982 World Cup campaign early on Thursday. ‘Pablito’ as he was affectionately known, died of an “incurable disease” according to RAI Sport, where he was working as a TV pundit. He will be sorely missed and will always be remembered for his opening goal against West Germany in the 1982 World Cup final. The celebrity icons have said they’re scrapping their annual Christmas bash for the first time in 40 years. In 2019, Kourtney Kardashian hosted the gathering, which cost an estimated $440,000, according to People. Apart from being the logical thing to do, the cancellation is a good PR move for the family, considering the backlash Kim Kardashian got for having a lavish 40th birthday party on an island.
