How to report a financial crime in the UAE

However, it is important to keep an eye out for financial scams, to ensure your money is goes into safe, reliable investments.
As a financial hub, the UAE has several regulatory authorities in place to protect investors and the public.
Central Bank
The Central Bank of the UAE is the regulator of banks and other financial institutions in the UAE, excluding the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
You can reach the authority by calling them on 800 CBUAE - 800 (22823).
The Securities and Commodities Authority
The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) is the regulator of securities and commodities within the United Arab Emirates (UAE), excluding the DIFC

Dubai Financial Services Authority
The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) is the independent regulator of financial and ancillary services conducted in or from the DIFC. You can lodge a complaint with them by filling in the form here: dfsa.ae/Consumer/consumer#Complaints
The Supreme Audit Institution
The Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) is the Supreme audit authority in the United Arab Emirates. The SAI is an independent body and attached to the Federal National Council. Besides auditing the federal government entities, SAI mandate also include fighting fraud and corruption.
To report a fraud to the SAI, visit: saiuae.gov.ae/en/Pages/Report-Fraud.aspx and fill out the detailed form, which requires complainants to provide or call 02 635 9999

For crimes that have taken place within the geographical scope of Dubai city, people can register a complaint at www.ecrime.ae.
Dubai Police
You can also contact Dubai Police through their app – Dubai Police – or by calling 901 for inquiries only.
