Anya Taylor-Joy is new Global Brand Ambassador for Dior

Celebrated actor will now represent women’s fashion and makeup for the iconic French brand

This bit of news is unlikely to surprise people who follow legendary French fashion house Dior. Following its announcement to make Emma Raducanu as its brand ambassador, the brand has now named Anya Taylor as its new global brand ambassador for women’s fashion and makeup.

Anna is an award-winning actor who played Beth Harmon in Netflix’s hugely popular and critically acclaimed production The Queen’s Gambit, and will represent those segments overseen by women’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri and creative and image director of makeup Peter Philips.

Anya made her presence felt with her stellar performance in writer, director, Robert Eggers’ The Witch. Furthermore, Anya has several interesting projects in the pipeline including Edgar Wright’s psychological thriller, Last Night In Soho.

Anya will also feature in the Northman and David O. Russell’s forthcoming feature for new regency.

Having been nominated for a golden globe for Split and Glass; and most recently, hosting the season finale of Saturday Night Live, Anya seems the right choice with her effortless charm and elegance.

Anya’s association with Dior began with her Golden Globes look. She wore a spectacular emerald green dress, which was custom made for her by Chiuri. Following this exquisite collaboration she was spotted donning three more Dior looks. These included: a Grecian goddess gown for the Dior Cruise 2022 show in Athens and a resplendent yellow shawl Most recently she was snapped in a Dior at the Venice Film Festival.
