The return of house of Dior
On March 6, 2022, the Dior dream was regenerated when the house of Dior reopened at number 30, Avenue Montaigne in Paris, after two years of renovation. The historic and emblematic landmark is the crème de la crème of French haute couture, and the building combines savvy elegance with innovative creativity. The reinvention has embedded Dior’s core DNA ensuring the magnificence is forever preserved by telling the stories the house once told and allowing room for the new ones. All whilst keeping the essence of its past.
“I am extremely pleased and proud to see this extraordinary dream, this outstanding project–which my team and I have carried with all our passion–finally come true. More than a reopening, 30 Montaigne is a total reinvention and a living symbol of our DNA: the birth of a realm like no other in the world, where dreams are given free reign and a new, unprecedented page in the history of Dior, fashion, and Paris, can be written,” explains Pietro Beccari, chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture.
The classic Parisian styled building welcomes each individual into the haute couture, fine jewellery and everything else sanctuary. The setting can only be described as inspired brilliance with its variety of endless possibilities from its charming Boutique supplying Dior’s essentials to Le Restaurant Monsieur Dior and La Pâtisserie Dior. We must not forget La Galerie Dior, which celebrates Dior’s legacy with pieces from Christian Dior and his six successors; the exhibition ignites all feelings of jubilation and more.
One of the most exhilarating opportunities of the newly renovated harbor of happiness is the chance to test out Dior’s hospitality sector, La suite Dior, which is not something one would expect when picturing a trip to Dior. This tailor made experience seems to be the kind of journey that would stick with you forever.
