This exhibition is an international success. Starting in Paris in 2017, more than 700,000 visitors were registered, sometimes queuing more than one hour. Unsurprisingly, this unique fashion exhibition is traveling in the world: the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Long Museum West Bund in Shanghai, Denver, USA, and soon in New York City at the Brooklyn Museum. We can already appreciate a first view with the unique scenography for each city through Instagram, with the special hashtag #diordesignerofdreams.

In this reinvented retrospective, curated by Olivier Gabet, Director of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, visitors can see the heritage from the famous French fashion house and its seventy years of haute couture, with the privilege to see a selection of pieces making their public debut.

It is an exclusive opportunity to admire the savoir-faire from the French fashion house in Middle East. The must-see will be for sure the iconic Bar Suit from the Corolle collection in 1947, known as the New Look. The exhibition will present a selection of the six designers who succeeded after Christian Dior. Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfrancco Ferre, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and the current artistic director Maria Grazia Chuiri, the first woman to design collections for the fashion brand. Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams will be available to the public at the M7 - the new epicentre for design and fashion - from November 2021 to March 2022 in Msheiheb Downtown Doha, located in the historic centre of the city.
