A capsule collection arrives in the famous jewellery brand, within the Clash Collection: Clash [UN]Limited. Exaggerated volumes, intensely black with oversized studs, and bold wearing options, the pieces reinvent the current Clash collection launched in 2019. With the brand's D.N.A, the new Cartier capsule collection rebels against classic forms with geometric lines combined with inflated volumes such as studs and pearls, giving new modernity to the brand.

This limited edition highlight the Cartier Clash stud. Excessive, spiky, and voluminous. The collection explores more possibilities with a radical approach to precious jewellery, which needed many hours at the Cartier design studios. Black & white touch, occasionally punctuated with hints of purple, using diamonds, onyx, and amethyst, contrasting with the usual pink and silver gold. Jewels can have multiple uses, such as articulated rings dotted with pyramidal diamond onyx studs that can be opened and worn as a midi ring.

The collection is a complex and meticulous selection of stones in different sizes that hold themselves together without the need for claws. The choice of stones: amethyst studs, hand-cut natural stones whose volume is altered by Cartier, crafting a play of proportions that grows increasingly wider against a backdrop of diamond paving.

Cartier revisits the traditional tennis line in the collection by reversing the diamonds. The pavilion becomes a stud, a decorative element that echoes the Cartier's spirit, and the flat table surface is now on the skin side, unable to be touched.

The most original piece from the collection is the mitten watch that links the art of jewellery, fashion, and watchmaking. Made up of a rose gold mesh set with a constellation of diamonds, surrounding a Baignoire Allongée watch hemmed with studs to stay in the Cartier D.N.A. Do you think pieces will appear in Emily in Paris next season on Netflix?
