Yemen issues statement condemning ship sabotage
Such acts constitute direct threat to regional, international security: foreign ministry
Aden: Yemen has condemned the act of sabotage against four ships near the UAE’s territorial waters.
In a statement issued on Sunday and carried by Yemen News Agency, SABA, the Yemeni Foreign Ministry said that such acts constitute a direct threat to regional and international security and peace.
“Those behind the acts seek to destablise the region and to undermine the safety, security and stability of the brotherly UAE.”
The ministry affirmed Yemen’s support to the leadership and people of the UAE. It also stressed the need to punish those involved in such cowardly act.
