Umar Hameed, Director, AIS Athletics, said in an interview with Gulf News: “Health and fitness has always been a priority within the country, however, the lockdown wasn’t helpful last year given the pandemic. Post-lockdown, the Run Club was brought in to encourage people to get back on track. Expo 2020 Dubai has been one of the biggest blessings, especially since people world over would be coming for the six-month event. We are really looking forward to ‘run’ this event.”
Supported by the Dubai Sports Council, in association with Dubai-based AIS Athletics, the Dubai Run at Expo 2020 will also provide participants with refreshments and certificates. All you have to do is cross the finish line!
