Post Malone is the last artist to join the Yasalam After-Race concerts in Abu Dhabi this year.

The American rapper will perform on November 22 at the du Arena in Yas Island. He joins the R’n’B crooner The Weeknd, who performs on November 23, British singer-songwriter Sam Smith on November 24 and rockers Guns N’ Roses, who wrap up the week on November 25.

The 23-year-old Malone rose to fame after his 2015 debut single White Iverson, which was later certified quadruple platinum. He released his first album Stoney in 2016, landing a Top 10 spot on the American charts. Earlier this year, he released his sophomore album Beerbongs & Bentleys, featuring Malone’s first No 1 single, Rockstar, with fellow rapper 21 Savage.

In August, the rap star also grabbed headlines after his plane made an emergency landing shortly after he performed at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.

The plane, bound for London, was forced to land at New York’s Stewart Airport after it blew two tyres as it was taking off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. The Gulfstream IV was carrying the musician and 15 others at the time.

The Yasalam After-Race concerts are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.

General admission tickets start at Dh995 for a three-day pass.
