BAGATELLE LAUNCHES A NEW MENU: More than just a pulsating hotspot, Bagatelle is a culinary destination that serves up fantastic French fare. Head Chef Ricardo Goncalves has reimagined the Bagatelle menu, introducing six delectable new dishes. The tartare de thon is one of the restaurant’s most popular dishes and now has a twist, serving the yellowfin tuna with avocado puree, cucumber & jalapeno salsa and blood orange dressing. Another new starter is La Tomate-a beef tomato stuffed with homemade fresh ricotta, heirloom cherry tomatoes, black olive granola, tomato consommé and basil vinaigrette. Two new hot starters that are sure to make a delicious impact are crispy octopus à la grenobloise, lemon & parsley puree, caper aioli & brown butter jus gras and Saint Jacques en croute, which is comprised of Hokkaido scallops baked in is own shell in puff pastry with salsify, sea herbs and a seaweed velouté. A French classic has made its way onto the new menu, canard à l’orange offers up the tender duck, alongside chicory marmalade and Seville orange puree. LUNAR LADIES NIGHT AT BLA BLA: For one night only, the weekly ladies night at Bla Bla will be hosting a very special menu, focussing on Hendricks beverages, with cocktails and food based on the delicious drink. The set menu features Crab cake (crispy shoestring potato, matcha, camomile oil, shiso), Lavender baby chicken (green beans, creamy potato, lemon confit, truffle jus) and Apple tart Tatin (lavender gelato). This special set menu is priced at Dh199 and includes three courses and three beverages. TRY A MALAYSIAN MENU: ‘Jade’ is Dubai’s latest addition to the casual dining restaurant landscape located off Sheikh Zayed Road. Until the end of the month, Jade will offer a Malaysian Menu to all Malay and Asian food lovers in the UAE, at Dh150 for two. Feast on the authentic Malaysian menu with some Pulut Panggang along with BBQ Chicken Buns, or try two hearty soup options, the first being the original Penang Laksa, also known to some as Assam Laksa. The other star soup is Penang Prawn Mee Soup, a must try for the prawn lovers. For the staples, we recommend you try the Nasi Degang or chef’s special Ayam Masak Lemak, both of which are served with flavoured rice.
