Al Wasl Plaza dome is the heart of the Expo 2020 site. It is large enough to fit two airbuses A380’s inside. It is set to be one of Dubai’s most iconic buildings. After the Expo2020 the building will serve as a future hub for major UAE events. The Al Wasl Plaza will include many restaurants, fountains, and parks inside and will be covered by a translucent 67-meter-tall domed trellis of 130 meters in diameter. Just off in the distance here is the Sustainability Pavilion. It will be completed by the end of this year and will start getting fitted out for pavilions throughout the start of 2020. This pavilion’s name is Terra and it will be home to an indoor forest. The goal with this pavilion is to remind people that it's not too late for us to save the world. If you look closely, you will notice that the UAE Pavilion is shaped like a falcon in flight. It will be a major attraction at Expo 2020 Dubai. The pavilion will tell the history of the nation as a connected global hub, and the vision of its leaders to create a peaceful and progressive society.
