UAE Central Bank’s gold reserves cross Dh12.1 billion in first five months of 2022

Abu Dhabi: The value of the UAE Central Bank’s gold reserves rose by 1.63 per cent in the first five months of the year, according to the latest statistics.

The central bank’s gold reserves reached Dh12.107 billion by end of May, rising Dh194 million during the January-May period as compared with Dh11.913 billion by end of December 2021.

Gold reserves grew sharply to Dh8.961 billion by the end of 2020 from Dh4 billion by end of 2019.
