DUBAI: Salama Insurance, whose shares have surged due to rumours of merger, said on Wednesday its board will meet on June 16 to appoint the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Board.
The board will also elect members of committees of the board, the company said in a statement posted on Dubai Financial Market’s website.
Salama Insurance shares closed 3 per cent lower at Dh0.579.
