The UAE-Israel peace treaty will have a positive outcome for businesses, says Kalandoor Group CEO
Israel's peace deals with the UAE will bring positive gains for business and trade in the region and help in creating new jobs in the area of medicine, agriculture, real estate, construction and even cyber security and innovations in technology. The CEO of Kalandoor Group of Companies believes it will be a win-win situation for businesses in the region. In an interview to Gulf News, he talks about the opportunities arising out of the peace deal and possible business expansions.
How does Kalandoor Group look to partner with Israeli companies, and what are the strengths you can leverage?
The Kalandoor Group has always maintained long term business relationships with our clients. From the beginning we have been providing high quality solutions in the diverse fields of Interior Fit Out, Furniture Manufacturing, Retailing, General Trading and Green Energy Solutions. It will be a privilege if Israeli companies partner with us and we would love to have them as one of our valued clients. Having said that, we are firm in our commitment in providing high standard and high quality services.
Interior fit-outs are moving to sustainable solutions. How is Kalandoor Group putting environment sustainability at the centre of its business?
Finding sustainable solutions are no more a matter of choice if we are serious about our survival on a world that is increasingly bearing the effect of global warming and climate changes which is triggered by the ecological imbalances caused by human action and excesses. It is with this clear realization that Kalandoor Group has chosen to join the worldwide campaign to resolve the problem of waste plastic pollution, and in the process, reduce our nation’s dependence on fossil fuels by converting waste plastics into fuel. The Group has started to explore the potential and is studying the possibilities of making this a success. We built a plant under the name of Kalandoor Green Energy where plastic waste is converted into fuel on an industrial scale through the process of pyrolysis. We are now producing 350 tons per annum, believing that as we continue we can give a big impact to the environment, making it a better place to for our next generation.
How do you look to fill the gap in the market for clients looking for contractors who can deliver high quality services and products.
First thing we do is to know all our clients, from low to high end brands - they are all reputable companies, they have different standard and qualifications. Our main objective is to ensure their satisfaction from the mobilization up to end of the project. We do not compromise our name, we serve with high quality, high standards and delivery it on time. We always stand on our slogan: “When it comes to our client, “we never come with reason, we come with unique solution”.
