iCademy Middle East selects Catherine O’Farrell to lead Knowledge Hub

iCademy Middle East, the GCC region’s first internationally accredited, KHDA-licensed online school, named Catherine O’Farrell as Director of their brick-and-mortar Knowledge Hub in Dubai Knowledge Park. O’Farrell will officially join iCademy Middle East on August 1, 2021.

O’Farrell brings 16 years’ experience in international education. She has served in executive leadership roles for some of the region’s largest school groups. O’Farrell is widely regarded as a regional influential leader and advocate for special education and inclusion communities.

O’Farrell has a strong background in the creation and implementation of comprehensive professional development and leadership programs for UAE educators and parents. She has appeared on Dubai Eye Radio as an education expert, and she has published several articles on inclusion and well-being. Her academic leadership skills have also made her a sought-after presenter at education conferences across the region.

O’Farrell holds numerous degrees and post graduate certificates including bachelor’s degrees in education and psychology. She also holds graduate level degrees in Counseling and Psychotherapy.
