Chicking opens restaurant at Expo Village in Dubai
Dubai: Chicking opened its newest quick-service restaurant in Dubai earlier this month, giving Expo 2020 Dubai visitors a budget-friendly dining option at the busiest entertainment destination in the emirate.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was graced by Emirati singer and songwriter Alira and Chicking founder and chairman AK Mansoor.
Alira, whose debut single ‘Take Flight’ is now trending on TikTok, got a big surprise when the Chicking mascot and Elite Force Dancers danced to his viral song at the opening ceremony that was also attended by local and Indian media and social media influencers.
Chicking also launched its Peri Peri Chicken with four kinds of special Peri Peri sauces. The special dish will be available in all Chicking stores, including Chicking at Expo Village, from December 5.
The new Chicking outlet is located at Shop 7 of Expo Village Residences 2A, behind the Expo Metro Station and near the Expo Park.
Foodies can drop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner with Chicking’s signature fried chicken, burger, pizza, pasta, wraps and rice meals.
This is the 22nd Chicking outlet in the UAE and the 230th globally. Chicking is also set to open a new outlet in Dubai Silicon Oasis later this year.
With its slogan “It’s My Choice”, Chicking offers a multi-cuisine menu that includes its Signature Fried Chicken, Grilled Chicken, pizza, pasta, wraps and burgers.
The homegrown brand has continued its expansion in the UAE this year, with the opening of its outlet in City Centre Deira on July 13. Earlier this year, Chicking also opened an outlet in City Centre Al Zahia, Sharjah’s biggest mall.
Chicking has outlets in Mall of The Emirates, Ibn Battuta Mall and City Centre Shindagha in Dubai, Remal Mall in Al Ain, City Centre Al Zahia in Sharjah, Ajman Cooperative Society, as well as in Abu Dhabi.
Chicking is present in 27 countries, including Ireland, Indonesia, India, Hungary, the Maldives, Egypt, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and many more countries in UK, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Chicking’s Halal concept has also made it very popular in Africa, the Middle East and in Asia’s predominantly Muslim countries, including Indonesia.
