ALD Automotive-LeasePlan alliance names Ajay Narain as UAE country manager
Combined entity has direct presence in 44 countries, names UAE chief
Dubai: ALD Automotive has completed the 100 per cent acquisition of LeasePlan, the fleet management and mobility companies, from a consortium led by TDR Capital.
This acquisition ‘positions the combined group as the leading global sustainable mobility player with total fleet of 3.3 million vehicles’. The combination of ALD Automotive and LeasePlan will ‘leverage on scale and complementary capabilities to strengthen its competitiveness and deliver sustained growth,’ said a statement.
In the UAE, Ajay Narain, who has been leading LeasePlan Emirates since September 2011, will be the new Country Managing Director. Narain has spent over 24 years in the vehicle leasing and fleet management industry
