Hate planning your laundry? Samsung’s QuickDrive Washing Machines will do it for you

Samsung’s latest QuickDrive washing machines are IoT-ready and boast an intelligent AI-powered laundry assistant called Q-rator, which provides three key smart features that help users manage laundry more conveniently. Let's show you how it works.
Laundry Recipe
Let's say you've got a whole load of clothes to wash. The first feature you’d use is Laundry Recipe. Log into your app and it will recommend the optimal wash cycles for your load of clothes depending on factors such as colour, type of fabric and level of soiling.
Once you’ve input all the necessary data, the app will tell you what cycle is best for your clothes in the Samsung QDrive washing machine.
Laundry Planner
You’ve got your Laundry Recipe through the app and loaded your machine before going to bed or leaving for work. You don’t want the clothes sitting in the washing machine for hours on end. Well, the easy solution to that is the Laundry Planner.
The in-app Laundry Planner feature allows users to select a time for their laundry comfortable to them. Whether you want your clothes ready right after you wake up or after you reach home, the app can take care of it. All you need to do is decide the time.
HomeCare Wizard
So the laundry was planned and executed at your convenience. But what if something went wrong while you’re out of the house? Another feature in Samsung's app, HomeCare Wizard lets users monitor the washer remotely while also proactively alerting them of potential problems, providing quick troubleshooting support when needed.
That’s not the HomeCare Wizard’s only function. It also provides you with a Laundry Diary, which tells you what laundry you’ve done and when in the past. You also get to know your most commonly used cycle. The Wizard will also monitor your energy consumption and lastly, but most importantly, will inform you when your drum requires cleaning.
The QuickDrive washing machine can also clean itself using its Eco Drum Clean+, which removes dirt and 99.9 per cent of odour-causing bacteria from the drum. It uses soaking, pulsating and high-speed spinning, without harsh or costly detergent, to keep your machine hygienically clean.
Naturally, you might imagine all this would burn a hole in your pocket. Well, you’d be surprised. The Samsung QuickDrive 9KG washing machine is available for Dh3,989 and the combo version is available for Dh4,934 (excluding 5 per cent VAT).
